All Board members are expected to attend Executive and General Board meetings.  They work to coordinate, supervise, and support Club activities.  Board members must maintain current files for their position.  Board members bring suggestions from the general membership to the Board.

Listed below are the office holders

• President:  Joy Kellner
  •  Presides at all meetings, and calls special meetings when necessary.
  • Votes only in case of a tie. Represents and acts on behalf of the Club.
  • Acts as liaison between the Club and other Installation Committees / Boards.
  • Appoints committeechairs and the Parliamentarian.
  • Fills Board vacancies with approval of Board.
  • Removes Board members who are not fulfilling their duties.
  • Is a member of all committees.
  • Co-signs the Club checks.
  • Ensures annual audits are performed.
• First Vice President:  Ruth Cowart
  • Coordinate fundraising efforts.  Establish and chair a fundraising committee. 
  • Cooperate with and assist the President at all times
  • Assume all duties in the absence of the President
  • Fulfill any unexpired term of the President
  • Establish a decoration committee as needed
  • Serve on the Nominating Committee
  • Coordinate welcome and farewell gifts as appropriate
  • Co-sign all checks with President or Treasurer
  • Vote on all issues before the General Board
  • Hold either active or associate membership in The Club.
    
• Second Vice President:  Patsy Burton
  Asst 2nd Vice President:  Elsa Bennet
  • Assumes all duties in absence of President and First Vice President.
  • Develops programs for monthly functions (September – May) and special events and makes appropriate arrangements for functions (i.e menu planning and hostess decorations).
  • Sends thank-you gifts and notes to guest speakers.
    
• Treasurer:  Laura Broome
  • Acts as custodian of the Club’s funds and follow standard accounting procedures, using double entry ledger books.
  • Collects and deposits monies in the Club bank accounts.
  • Pays all Club bills.
  • Disburses funds as authorized by the General Board, the general membership, the President, or the approved budget.

  • Select, purchase, price, advertise, and sell Club items.

• Spouses Night Out Chair:  Betsy Meyer and Melissa Mitchell
  • Arrange, publicize, and conduct day or evening outings
• Website:  Rich Arnold
• Welfare: Open 
  • Consist of a chair, advisor, President, Treasurer, First Vice President with at least two members from the general membership
  • Receive and investigate requests for welfare funds and meet at least two times per year
  • Present the recipients and amount of dispersals to the General Board and general membership for approval in April.

  •  Take charge of the Bingo fundraiser, which is our largest source of Scholarship and Welfare funds.

    Recognize new members, guests, and departing members at the monthly general membership meetings.
    Assist the 2nd VP with the annual welcome function.
    Represent the club at the post Newcomer's Activity
    Have the chair or his/her designee serve on the nominating committee.

  • Prepare, publish, and distribute a membership directory
  • Maintain current membership records

  • Ensure that a representative of the club will be present at the post-sponsored monthly newcomers welcome activity.
