The Spouses' Club of the Fort Sam Houston Area has earned an outstanding reputation of service to the community by raising funds that benefit our military families and post organizations that serve our military community.

Joining the club is definitely a great place to start if you want the opportunity to meet and connect with other military spouses in our local area.  We are the perfect fit for all stages and ages.  Whether you're a new or seasoned military spouse or work full-time, part-time, or in your home, this is the place for you.

By becoming a member you will receive a monthly newsletter and be able to join club-sponsored activities, to include Bunco, spouses' night out, and book clubs, just to name a few.  Our members meet every third Tuesday of the month for a fun and interactive luncheon program which is sure to please!

It doesn't matter whether you are new to Fort Sam Houston or have been here a while.  Come and give us a try -- we look forward to meeting you!

Who can join?

• Active members:
  Spouses of all active commissioned officer, warrant officer, and enlisted service members stationed at Fort Sam Houston.
  
• Associate members:
  • Spouses living in the San Antonio area whose commissioned officer, warrant officer, or enlisted sponsors are not stationed at Fort Sam Houston.
  • Spouses of retired or widows/widowers of commissioned officer, warrant officer, or enlisted servicemembers.
  • Spouses of DoD civilian employees, including all GS-level employees, and DoD contractors.
  • Adult family members who live with an active commissioned officer, warrant officer, or enlisted servicemember stationed at Fort Sam Houston or who live with an active or associate member.
  • Active or retired officer, warrant officer, or enlisted servicemembers stationed at Fort Sam Houston or living in the San Antonio area (reflects dual-military families)>
  • Spouses of commissioned officer, warrant officer, or enlisted servicemembers on TDY status or other non-permanent status stationed at Fort Sam Houston.

Membership dues:  $20 for E5 and below; $25 for E6 and above.  If joining after December, dues are half-price.
